Azule’s Story

Azule Staffing was founded in 2012 with a mission to put veterans to work in lucrative, rewarding vocations outside the military. Founder Mike Wolbrink, a former Army Ranger, wanted to do more for his community, and a staffing firm seemed like a natural fit with all the veterans returning from overseas.

Since its founding, Azule has assisted hundreds of veterans in their efforts to find employment or find better employment. Our company currently includes three corporate offices, soon to be five—in Minnesota, Arizona, California, Florida, and Tel Aviv—and employees in 23 states and counting. At the start of 2014, 60% of the internal employees at Azule were veterans.

Initially, the corporate goal was 80% of placements being veterans. In 2013, Azule was awarded the Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) certification, which permits us to provide sole source solutions to government prime contractors. This distinction led to new opportunities placing veterans and non-veterans alike. To maintain a focus of giving back to service members, Azule uses profits to help veterans successfully reintegrate into civilian life. We offer financial help, job coaching, housing assistance, and more. “We never turn away a vet” is an unofficial company motto.

In 2015, we started the Azule Foundation to better coordinate resources for veterans. We also launched Azule Cyber the same year to meet our clients’ growing demand for cyber security. Azule looks forward to continued growth as opportunities present themselves. We’ll also continue to do whatever we can to benefit veterans.
